Embarking on a new design journey with a couple I’ve had the pleasure of working with in the past is always a delight. This couple’s Colorado home, adorned with beautiful traditional features, presented an opportunity to infuse a fresh and luxurious ambiance without straying too far from its inherent charm. With a clear vision in mind, we set out to create spaces that felt inviting, functional, and undeniably stylish.

A Colorado Sunrise
In the kitchen, we drew inspiration from the captivating hues of a Colorado sunrise, incorporating calming blues, fresh greens, and touches of gold. These colors, paired with dark wood floors and accents, breathed new life into the space, evoking a sense of comfort and warmth. The result was a kitchen that felt both functional and full of light, serving as the heart of the home where the family can gather and connect.
A Harmony of Colors
In every space of this home, light and color harmonize, creating a narrative of warmth and vitality. A sunlit window seat near the stairwell offers a cozy retreat, while hints of the kitchen’s calming blues and greens tie the living space together seamlessly. In the elegant dining room, a sophisticated palette of royal blues and powder pinks invites lingering conversation. The bedrooms exude unique personality, from vibrant hues in the master retreat to tranquil tones in the guest quarters. Throughout, light and color illuminate each space, evoking balance, beauty, and timeless elegance in every corner.
Luxurious Spaces
In each of the three auxiliary bathrooms was designed with its own unique character and charm. In the kids’ bathroom, we opted for playful touches of powder pink, elevated by black and white, and accented with luxe gold finishes, creating a space that felt both fun and refined. The guest bathroom exuded classic elegance with its black and white palette, elevated by gold accents and an emerald green shower—a timeless retreat for visitors. Meanwhile, the powder room embraced a grounding palette of dark grays, earth tones, and wood accents, offering a tranquil oasis for guests to refresh and rejuvenate.
A Tranquil Retreat
In the primary bathroom, we aimed to create a spa-like sanctuary where the couple could unwind and recharge. Fresh greens brightened by cheery yellow accents and luxe gold finishes came together to evoke a sense of serenity and freshness. The result was a space that felt both indulgent and calming—a perfect retreat at the end of a long day. Overall, this project was a testament to the transformative power of design, where traditional elegance met modern luxury in perfect harmony.
